    You are such a disappointment
Forrest is well known for his heart look at his first fight against Stephan Bonnar.

Forrest a disappointment?? The man puts on some of the most exciting fights you can pay to see. There aren’t many fighters out there with MORE heart than Forrest!

It should be a good fight, but Griffin doesn’t possess that KO power like Franklin…I think Franklin will take it in the 2nd round, TKO…

Forest is a good fight and i really cant pick between him or franklin.

Tho i did watch the Forest v silva fight yesterday and god anderson silva was phenomenal in that fight. Totally different class.

What a fight card Feb 5th. Really cant wait.

An sittin back waiting for the news of Fight night 25 heading to scotland!

Al be there, no doubt about it!

  11. January 27, 2011 at 1:49 pm

I think both guys are similar, but I do believe Franklin has more power, and probably better movement as well. Forrest is one of my favorite fighters, but I don’t see him stopping Franklin.

I laughed so hard and so loud until my stomach cramped towards Forrest Griffin! He talked so much trash toward the Spider like Sonnan and like Rogan states is now Anderson Silva’s and the UFC’s biggest embarrassing highlight reel! Anderson almost retired him — Franklin power is is ridiculous – his skill level a little crisp then a brawler Forrest. If Forrest hasn’t evolved from his brawling and if Franklin can resists getting swept into the scuffle and use his technical skills –KNOCK OUT!

As for Anderson Silva verse this danger, danger Belfort -NOT! In all of his fights and devastating knockouts his hands is faster then his feet. He darts from across the ring, CAGE, OCTAGON – always straight forwards, never backwards or angles. Dude’s feet is slower then his hands – this is the problem! A fighter such as myself can telegraph this! And, i’ll put up $100 (jedi9al@hotmail.com) that Anderson the Spider sees this in all of his knockouts reel. Anderson the Spider Silva’s hands, angles and timing should punctuate a KNOCKOUT! I can’t wait for Anderson to destroy this dude, Cheal Sonnan is the biggest threat to Anderson. I am waiting for part2 – it should be a bangger!!!! The other one is Shogun. If any one of them meets up in the future – now that will be a problem – more so than GSP.

Silva is too lengthy, once gsp gets him to the ground, body anaconda will prevent the pass and give the Spider the Advantage. Striking wise, Anderson is on a different planet then GSP, that new found jab will get countered easily because GSP drops it to his waist each time. Anderson vs Cheal2, Anderson vs Shogun. After Evans out wrestles Shogun and takes the belt only to give it back to Machida after he takes out the Captain America. I see Shogun vs Machida3 then the Spider.

Forrest Griffin is a piece of crap. He got his ass kicked against sorry ass keith jardine, had the most embarrassing knock out that I ever saw against Silva, and tapped out from strikes against evans.

what a beast vs. warrior this bout is gonna be. i have no clue who has the upper hand in this fight. split decision for franklin is what i’ll say.

Dino, you have obviously never stepped into a cage before, or else you’d know there are days that just arent yours, the fact that this guy gets up and trains the day after shows he has more heart than you will ever have.

i have seen forrest fight since the beginng of his career, think hes great but wish he would put the anderson fight behind him and get some more confidence. its only one fight forrest, frig it , now knock franklins head off.

    January 27, 2011 at 5:18 pm

This is a tough bout for Forrest, but at least he knows that. Franklin will have the speed advantage, so Forrest can’t get sloppy on the feet.

    forrest is guna take it

    January 28, 2011 at 5:20 pm

well no offense buffer but i dont think the anderson fight or rashad fight are ones to show the strengh of forrests heart. ones that will take courage to put behind him though. not too dwell on them but not too forget either. learn from them.

    January 29, 2011 at 4:37 pm

Jake Spade, you need to keep up with things. Chael Sonnen will never fight Silva again and if he does he will get destroyed. He only got so far in that fight because he was on STEROIDS and Silva had an injury to the point where doctors told him not to fight. And Silva still stood in there, was able to throw in a few hard shots, and wound up throwing a submission. Plus, your saying Silva is gonna keep winning, well than he’s gonna hafta move up, and so would Sonnen. And Sonnen doesn’t want to fight Silva again.
You have a good case in the Silva/GSP thing, but I don’t see it ever happening because Silva has talked about retirement in the past year or so and when he finally loses he’s gonna stop fighting. The only hope we have for that fight is Silva losing against Belfort and not hanging up the gloves and staying in there for another one. And GSP will have to move up after beating Shields at 129. If those two things happen then it’s likely, if they don’t than I can’t see how it would.
I don’t see Evans outwrestling Shogun. If it gets to the ground I believe that Shogun will be able to use his strength and BJJ. But his strength will keep it from going down to the ground in the first place.
And Machida is done. He’s been solved. Couture is slowing down but I have the utmost confidence that he will embarrass Machida and put the Karate Kid outta MMA.

  26. Jake Spade
    January 30, 2011 at 1:24 am

Ok. Let’s rewind a bit: Machida is far from done – she proved it in the Rampage fight. Regardless of what the judges think, Rampage said, “I could hit him and he whipped my ass!” Back to Shogun and Machida – You might want to rewatch the part 2. Machida was clearly wining the round, with counter strikes and 2 take downs. The problem is that Machida unestimated Shogun’s counter punching abilities. So, if it wasn’t for the counter punch that dazed Machida in the last few seconds of the 1st round, Machida mopped the floor with him. Machida will destroy Coulture. Machida has a bullet proof answer for Coulture. Coulture will try to impose his will and take him to the ground, but, Machida is a truly elusive fighter – has shut down all wrestlers in the past and while frustrating them on the outside.

Jake Shield will get massacred by GSP. 2 words – no hands. He is completely dependent upon his grappling! Which is nasty but I’m pretty damn sure that Jake Shield’s cannot beat BJ Penn in BJJ – ya got me! Its different when you come across a relentless striker and wrestler + jiujitsu tactician like GSP. Sonnan maybe down and out for now, but, so far regardless of the variables with steroids to Anderson’s Ribs – Sonnan stood up to Anderson and handled him like no other opponent in his career. So, It will only be good business to make it happen again in the future!

Evans is an All American Collegiate Wrestler. Throughout his career dust far, when Evans used his wrestling, he easily out did his opponents. Evans is more explosive than Shogun and he has power. But, Shogun utilizes everything, Knees, Bows and feet and hands plus he a BJJ Black belt. It will be interesting, but, Evans is educated in the fact that he studies and comprehends his opponents tapes, without the aid of his coaches and strategist. So, with that said, he can adapt to the pressure and still go get Shogun. Shogun get’s this analyzation from his coach. I didn’t see him adjust to the Machida fights, he just stuck to his game plan.

Last, Anderson is not retiring yet – even if defeated he talked about fighting light heavy weight and the heavy weight division after the Sonnan fight. GSP will only gradually put on weight not for show but for permanent competing class.

  27. Jake Spade
    January 30, 2011 at 1:24 am

My bad Machida – he is far from a she!

  28. Jake Spade
    January 30, 2011 at 1:35 am

Anderson will mop the floor with Belfort – he has too many loop holes for Anderson to jump rope through all day. For example, Belfort punches from the chest, not protecting none of the 7 buttons on the face – Anderson and Machida are the best counter punches currently in MMA. Belfort feet is too slow over his hands. He runs in then punches. That is huge flaw in fighting! I don’t know about some of these dudes, but, the first thing I’ve learned over 10 years ago in boxing is to flare your back heel while exploding from front step! Belfort doesn’t do that – his striking is clearly telegraphed and if I seen this in all of his fights I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that Anderson has seen it too! Plus, the dude can’t hit backwards or from side to side, all of these holes spells an easy KNOCKOUT FOR ANDERSON SILVA! SORRY BELFORT FANS! HE DOES HAVE A PUNCHES CHANCE THOUGH…JUST HOPE HE CAN RECOIL HIS SHOTS BACK TO HIS CHIN THOUGH.

ufc 126… dnt underate Belfort, yer we know Anderson is kinda elusive like Machida but nt perfect 4 a counter striker like Bolfort whos got 1 of d faster hands in d game.. Remember d Rich Frankln fight,an also with V Silva……

Lol@ all these armchair sportsman bagging a guy that puts it on the line every time. Unless you yourself fight in the UFC, dont bag someone that does.
The worst fighter in the UFC having his worst day and feeling sick as a dog would STILL wipe the floor with any of these guys bagging him.

Forest vs Franklin good co-main event but that is it and just because they did their part for the sport at their respective time. I don’t think they are up to a main event any more, I would grater Jones VS Bader as co-main event. a lot of new up comers more well rounded that I would like to see…

  32. Sergio
    January 31, 2011 at 5:17 am

The Spider VS the Phenom- with a neutral point of view if Velfort doesn’t finish the fight in the first round the less chance of winning he has. as we all know Anderson is well know for his slow starts and temp to struggle with quick starters like Velfort, ex. Sonnen fight with the exception that Velfort has knock out power and if he gets cough with one of those punches he will be off, I would like to see Velfort as the first heavy weight, light heavy weight and possibly middle weight champion ever in the history of UFC.

BELFORT WOULD NEVER GET THE HEAVY WEIGHT BECAUSE CAIN LOOKS TO BE THE NEW ANDERSON SILVA! PLUS, JR SANTOS, BROCK, THAT EX NFL DUDE TO EVEN COLTURE2 IS TOO MUCH FOR DUDE. THE LIGHT WEIGHT DIVISION AND SHOGUN AND OR MACHIDA WILL SHUT HIM DOWN, EVANS, JONES, ETC SEEMS TOO MUCH FOR HIM. HINTS HIS REASON FOR MOVING DOWN TO CHALLENGE THE SPIDER ANDERSON SILVA. DESPITE HIS 12 TOTAL FIRST ROUND KNOCKOUTS I DON’T SEE HIM MOWING OVER SILVA ELUSIVENESS! HE HASN’T FOUGHT ANY ELUSIVE FIGHTERS! ME PERSONALLY, I WOULD HAVE PICKED ON MACHIDA BEFORE THE SPIDER. ANYWAY, ANDERSON WILL KNOCK HIM OUT AND SEND HIM BACK UPSTAIRS TO THE HEAVY WEIGHTS.

I AM ALSO QUESTIONING BELFORT’S ENDURANCE…? HE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A TUNE UP FIGHT AT 185, HE FOUGHT 103 RICH FRANKLYN AT 205 – 20LB OF MUSCLE IS A HUGE FACTOR IF YOU’RE NOT USE TO IT. ON AVERAGE UNLESS YOU WALK AROUND NATURALLY IN THAT WEIGHT, WHICH EXPLAINS WHY ANDERSON CAN EASILY FIGHT AT 205LBS, BECAUSE ITS NATURAL. BUT, IF ANDERSON EVER CUTS WEIGHT TO 169LBS, EXPECT TO SEE HIS COORDINATION AND TIMING OFF SET – IT TAKES 6 MONTHS FOR YOUR METABOLISM TO GET USE TO THE WEIGHT AND TIMING FOR POWER AND BALANCE. UNLESS BELFORT IS USE TO THIS WEIGHT CUT WHICH HIS HISTORY DOESN’T SHOW, I’M EXPECTING TO SEE A DRAMATIC LETHARGIC EFFECT AFTER OR EVEN DURING THE FIRST ROUND. ANDERSON SILVA BY KNOCKOUT!

I find it very amusing that people come and talk as if they knew everything the fighters. Anyway, i think that Vitor has alot of experience in the ring and from watching tapes its easy to see that in the first round of every Silva fight he checks for range and test his jab, this is when Vitor could win the fight, Sonnen rock him during this time if you guys remember and he ain’t known as a big stand up striker. One thing i know for shure is the pressure is on Anderson 12 fights winning streak, last one he almost lost, everyone saw he was human in that one too. Vitor only has to give a good show. I also think that GSP wont need to fight Silva because by the time he becomes a middleweight Anderson won’t be champ anymore. As for Griffin, he fought Silva injured, so to question the guys heart would be a bit unreasonable, but in the end i think Rich is a superior fighter and should come out with the win. Finally, Machida can definitly defeat couture but he’s gonna have to wor for it, Randy is gonna take him down at one point or another in that fight, we’ll see how fast he can get back up, as for the striking Lyoto is one of the best technical strikers in the game, even if some of his fights weren’t exciting he still has alot of those left in him. What i wanna see is Machida vs. Silva hehe, After Anderson losses his title to Belfort in a FIRST ROUND KO.

    February 2, 2011 at 12:58 pm

well forrest said himself in interview, that he was in perfect shape for the silva fight, and apologized after the tito fight and admitted that silva broke him, exactly what he said hed never do, so if you are stating that he was injured during that fight , you might want to let forrest now about it. and yes i am a forrest fan, and want him to win, but dont make excuses for him cause he dont want them.

Well Mig’s according to the “Press Conference” – it was revealed that Anderson Silva use to train and Spar with Belfort. And, the question was asked is Belfort skills amongst the top – Anderson said “NO!” In other Questions, Belfort recoiled that notion by stating he’s a better and well round fighter now then the past and he unfortunately was not around to see how much he’s evolved in the sport! So there you have it, Anderson the Spider Silva along with Belfort indirectly admitting that he use to get powned and stomped on by Anderson! And, lastly Anderson use to say the greatest Brazilian Fighter he’s sparred or seen out there is Machida. He has changed that verbiage in the conference, when asked who is the top Brazilian fighters? Anderson replied “Myself as a clone!” Now, so might depict this as arrogant, but as a fighter – this means to me that the Spider might have surpassed Machida! If so, Belfort is get beyond pummeled! And if you examine Belfort’s eyes when Anderson got in his space, There was clearly a sight of fear from Belfort. The second time, he flexed his cheek bones and did not freight away. The defeat was in his eyes! Belfort is already defeated! Watch the posted CONFERENCE!

forrset is a pussy! When he lost his last fight he ran away to the locker room, not even man enough to stand with his oppenent for the ruling….all he ever does is lose then apologize to the crowd for his effort….He is a better author then fighter..read his book..its funny

Jake Spade: Another wannabe expert who claims to be a fighter with a huge superiority complex. The only thing you should be fighting is for your money back from whomever taught you English. You constantly twist and misconstrue to support your massive man-crush on Anderson. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, maybe you can get him to give you an Anaconda choke if you catch my drift.

  43. Jake Mill
    February 3, 2011 at 2:56 pm

Really Jake? You are no fucking fighter, and your analogy on a previous conference and the stare down is absolutely horrid. You are all over Silva’s nuts, admit it kid.

Belfort is not scared of Silva, he’s been fighting in the UFC since he was 19 years old. You are a true standout in all the fake ass people who claim to have any experience what so ever inside a octagon.

Sweet mouth Brain, I am a United States Marine – who would demolished little dude’s that step up to the plate. If you’re man enough come and see me in Out Fox MMA gym in Virginia Beach, Va. And I’ll give you a first hand experience on my superiority complex and man crush! As far as my man English is concern, I’m a veteran now in higher learning (College), enjoying the freedom that I fought for while bitches like you “Brian”, reap the benefit for running your mouth – if you’re man enough come to the gym! Anderson Silva is the best who keeps evolving – I give credit when and where its do! So go and run like a little rodent that you are!

    February 3, 2011 at 11:27 pm

oooo, a toughie on here claiming to be a fighter, a marine, and knowing he can beat people up on the internet, how intimidating! The fact that you claim a stare down puts fear in a true fighter’s eyes, and you demolishing “little dudes” clearly denoted your credibility as a serious fighter to begin with.

You need to keep in mind that just because you train in a gym or go over seas doesn’t make you a hard ass, it’s one thing you should learn quickly the first time you get into a real fight.
