GO KENNY!!! GET THAT BELT! KENFLO ALL THE WAY!
So Kenny was not good enough to take the belt in his own rightful weight class so now he is going to drop down so he can fight the smaller guys. Going to be funny when he can not win the belt in that division either. Wonder if he will drop weight class again.
poster above me sucks dick
The truth is, The Truth is right. If Kenny had won against Gray Maynard at UFC 118 he would have fought for the lightweight belt by now, but he failed to get the lightweight title for the second time so now he’s trying for the featherweight belt.
Obviously you don’t fight. Sometimes you need to change weight classes. These guys these days are bigger, stronger and better. So shut tfu!
the truth is a douche. There is no exact weight class for any fighter. You pack on muscle you lose muscle. You gain weight you lose wieght. No one fights at the wieght they walk around at. Ken flo is a beast. Hes a small guy with a small frame.
I am coming to the conclusion that weigh ins should be done on the day of the fight. Weight cutting is not healthy Florian looks anorexic at 155 what kind of measures is he taking to get to this weight. Bulimia and anorexia is a disease recognized among woman is this any different
As if Florian HAD to go down weight to be a contender. He dominated nearly everyone at lightweight, where he almost always had a slight size disadvantage. Bringing up the Maynard fight is a laugh. Maynard drops more weight to fight at 155 than Florian will to fight at FW, so what is Maynards reasoning? Has he even attempted to fight at WW yet, where he should’ve been all along?
Contrary to what some biased people might want to believe, Florian actually dropped weight to have a challenge – specifically, the challenge of fighting one of the best p4p fighters in Jose Aldo, who was ducking a fight at LW despite not being that much smaller (if at all) than Florian.
A 145 lb Florian makes as much sense as 90% of UFC fighters fighting in their current division.
Stop the blind hate.
he puts on good fights but no he will not get a belt he is like a girl in the store trying to pick out a new dress and still cant decide.
ok.. i for one DO fight and agree that sometimes dropping weight is needed, i went from fighting at 155 to now 135, but the fact of the matter is once u get ur BMI% down so low it becomes harder so its about fighting a weight that works for u and making sure u maintain strength and energy..Seeing as how Kenny Florian made his debut at 185 in the UFC and has since dropped to 155 im sure cutting again while is possible probably isnt that healthy..BUT as for Jose Aldo “ducking” 155lb fighters..that is just stupid.. why would someone give up a championship belt in a division they are dominating to move up for more challenge UNLESS they have defended it countless times such as GSP, Anderson Silva, Penn even. he just got the belt not too long ago and wants to hold it for a while. i dont think kenny florian could beat aldo..i honestly dont think edgar or maynard could either. and even though i agree with dropping weight sometimes being necessary it does seem that he is only dropping it because he cant attain the belt at 155..
