UFC 133′s “UFC Prelims” special on Spike TV averaged 1.4 million viewers and was the day’s No. 1 rated program on cable television among men ages 18-49 and 18-34.
Overall, the Aug. 6 broadcast scored a 1.0 household rating and a peak audience of 1.44 million viewers.
Spike TV officials today emailed the ratings information to MMAjunkie.com.
To date, Spike TV has aired 20 “UFC Prelims” broadcasts (ION Television also aired two). The all-time record for viewership was set in February when two million viewers tuned in for a “UFC Prelims” special for UFC 126. UFC 132 scored just 1.2 million viewers this past month.
