    Kim Couture arrested on alleged domestic violence charge
    Kim Couture was arrested Saturday in Las Vegas for alleged domestic violence, Barbara Morgan from the Office of Public Information with the Las Vegas Police Department confirmed to MMAWeekly.com.  According to MMAWeekly.com's sources, Couture got into a dispute with her personal assistant.  Couture has fought for Strikeforce and is the former wife of Randy Couture.

    Visa issues force delay in Kelly-Volkmann match to Aug. 1
    The match between Jacob Volkmann and England's has been postponed from UFC 116 to UFC on Versus 2 due to visa issues for the Brit.  Instead of the lightweights meeting July 3 in Las Vegas, they instead will face off Aug. 1 in Salt Lake City.

    Jens Pulver has been released from the WEC, Dana White told MMAFighting.com.  White also said Pulver, the first lightweight champion in UFC history, will not be back as a commentator for Zuffa events.  Pulver is on a five-fight losing streak.  "We had talked about Jens being a part of the WEC somehow, but he's not broadcasting," White said.  Pulver was in the MMA DieHards booth at the UFC Expo and gave a revealing interview.  Look for it this week.

    Lee Murray receives 10-year prison sentence
    Lee Murray will be in jail in Morocco for the next 10 years.  Murray's sentence is a result of the largest robbery in British history, a 53-million-pound theft in 2006.  Murray became an underground legend for allegedly knocking out Tito Ortiz in a 2002 street fight, and later won his lone UFC appearance.  He also lost to Anderson Silva by decision in his most recent MMA fight.

    Nate Diaz likely to pay fine, secure UFC 118 spot
    Nate Diaz likely will pay a $7,500 fine to the Tennessee Athletic Commission in order to ensure he will be eligible to fight Marcus Davis at UFC 118 in Boston on Aug. 28.  The fine was the result of Diaz's involvement in the post-event Strikeforce brawl in April.  "We just want to get this past us, and probably we'll pay the fine and move on," Cesar Gracie, Diaz's manager, told MMAjunkie.com.

    In a match that proved closer than most could have foreseen, rising Strikeforce star Tyron Woodley defeated Nate Coy by split decision at Strikeforce Challengers VIII on Friday. The heavy favorite going in, Woodley looked to use his superior wrestling to force the fight to the ground. On the feet, however, Coy was able to use his striking to his advantage, apparently injuring Woodley's leg in the third round and swelling his eye.
