Miguel Torres looked more like the former bantamweight champion that he is than the man who had lost two straight fights on Thursday when he submitted Charlie Valencia at 2:25 of the second round with a rear naked choke at WEC 51 in Broomfield, Colo.  Torres lost the belt to Brian Bowles, then fell to Joseph Benavidez before beating Valencia for his first win in 17 months.  “It’s an opportunity to evolve.  My two losses showed me I needed the chance to grow,” said Torres, who is now 38-3.  “I learned how to wrestle better.  There’s never any pressure.  I’m not at a crossroads.  I’m only 29.”
