Pancrase officials have announced that current 125 pound ‘King of Pancrase’ Kiyotaka Shimizu will defend his title against Mitsuhisa Sunabe on June 5 at the Differ Ariake arena in Tokyo; Pancrase’s fifth stop on their “Impressive Tour”.

The match will mark the fourth meeting and third title bout between the two since first squaring off in June 2008. Sunabe, earned a unanimous decision victory on that occasion before Shimizu evened the score and claimed the flyweight championship in February of last year.

A title-bout rubber match between the two in December ended in a split draw prompting Pancrase brass to announce a fourth contest later this year to settle the score once and for all.
