Middleweight Chris Camozzi has been cut from the UFC, he announced on his blog Wednesday afternoon.
“Fighting for a premiere organization such as the UFC was a dream come true for me but unfortunetly Ive hit a bump in that dream,” Camozzi said in Wednesday’s post. “I received my walking papers today and Im disappointed but I need to stay positive and take this as a learning experience.”
Camozzi was 2-0 in his UFC career with wins over James Hammortree and Dong Yi Yang before losing by submission to Kyle Noke at UFC 127. He is 14-4 in his MMA career.
