DaMarques Johnson, not Rich Attonito, meets Gunnar Nelson at UFC on FUEL TV 5

DaMarques Johnson (16-11), not Rich Attonito (10-5), will meet Gunnar Nelson (9-0-1) later this month at UFC on FUEL TV 5.

As reported earlier today, Mjolnir fight team head Dean Nelson (who's also Gunnar's father) initially tweeted that Attonito had stepped in for injured welterweight Pascal Krauss (10-1).

Johnson looks to get back in the win column following a recent 1-3 skid that's included recent back-to-back losses to John Maguire and Mike Swick. "The Ultimate Fighter 9" runner-up, though, rarely puts on a boring performance. In fact, his past 12 victories all have come via stoppage (as have his past five losses).

Nelson brings an undefeated record to the UFC. After a draw in his 2007 promotional debut, he's won nine consecutive fights, all via stoppage (six submission and three knockouts). The Renzo Gracie jiu-jitsu black belt, who also holds a karate black belt, is a veteran of the European fight circuit, though he's fought just once since late 2010.

UFC on FUEL TV 5 is set for Sept. 29 at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England.

    UFC on FOX 4 adds Swick-Johnson, Grispi-Garza, Phan-Miller, Gamburyan-Omigawa

Four new fights are set for UFC on FOX 4, officials today announced.

And one includes the long-awaited return of fan favorite Mick Swick (14-4 MMA, 9-3 UFC), who meets fellow welterweight DaMarques Johnson (16-10 MMA, 4-4 UFC).

The others feature a trio of featherweight matchups: Josh Grispi (14-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) vs. Pablo Garza (11-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC), Nam Phan (17-10 MMA, 1-3 UFC) vs. Cole Miller (18-6 MMA, 7-4), and Manny Gamburyan (11-7 MMA, 2-5 UFC) vs. Michihiro Omigawa (13-11-1 MMA, 1-3 UFC).

UFC on FOX 4 takes place Aug. 4 at Los Angeles' Staples Center, and the main card airs on FOX.

The above fights are likely to be part of the preliminary card, which FUEL TV and Facebook carry.

Swick fights for the first time in 31 months due to illness and injuries that have plagued his career. The American Kickboxing Academy fighter and "The Ultimate Fighter 1" cast member as a middleweight contender before he dropped to welterweight, where he most recently suffered back-to-back losses to Dan Hardy and Paulo Thiago. He takes on Johnson, a "TUF 9" runner-up who's alternated between wins and losses over his past six fights. Most recently, he suffered a submission defeat to John Maguire at UFC on FUEL TV 2.

Grispi, meanwhile, will return from a 14-month layoff due to injuries. The former top WEC/UFC featherweight contender most recently has suffered back-to-back losses to Dustin Poirier and George Roop. He looks to return to his earlier form, which included 10 straight victories from 2007 to 2010, against Garza, who also looks to snap a two-fight losing skid. After opening his UFC career with bonus-clinching stoppages of Fredson Paixao and Yves Jabouin, he's since suffered losses to Poirier and Dennis Bermudez.

Phan, meanwhile, finds himself in a must-win situation. Although he's dropped some close decisions, the "TUF 12" semifinalist is just 1-3 in his past four fights, which included a decision loss to rising prospect Jimy Hettes at UFC 141. He takes on a fellow vet in Miller, who was on a 3-1 run before a unanimous-decision loss to the vastly improved Steven Siler at UFC on FX 2. The bout marked Miller's return to featherweight following a long run at lightweight, which included three of the UFC's "Submission of the Night" bonuses.

Finally, Gamburyan fights for his job and looks to snap a three-fight WEC/UFC losing streak. Since returning to the UFC following a stint in the WEC, where he unsuccessfully challenged for Jose Aldo's featherweight title, the "TUF 5" runner-up has suffered decision losses to Tyson Griffin and Diego Nunes. He takes on Omigawa, a former World Victory Road and DREAM fighter who's had little success in the UFC with decision defeats to Chad Mendes, Darren Elkins and Yuri Alcantara. The lone bright spot came at UFC 138, when he picked up a decision victory over Jason Young.

The latest UFC on FOX 4 card now includes:

    Hector Lombard vs. Brian Stann
    Ryan Bader vs. Lyoto Machida
    Travis Browne vs. Ben Rothwell
    Terry Etim vs. Joe Lauzon
    Rob Broughton vs. Matt Mitrione
    Phil Davis vs. Chad Griggs
Phil De Fries vs. Oli Thompson
    DaMarques Johnson vs. Mike Swick
    Cole Miller vs. Nam Phan
    Pablo Garza vs. Josh Grispi
    Manny Gamburyan vs. Michihiro Omigawa
