Guess who’s back, back again!  Amy’s back – with friend!  John Petit (Twitter: @Scream13) sits in to guest co-host another fantastically fresh edition of Punch Drunk Radio.   On top of the guest-hosting-goodness, we’ve got a stellar super special and extended interview for y’all tonight.  Matt “The Immortal” Brown joins us to talk, well, nearly anything under the sun.

Brown (Twitter: @IAmTheImmortal) has a big weekend ahead of him as he faces off against Mike Swick at UFC on FOX 5 in Seattle.  We’ll talk to him about all things Swick (“I didn’t know he had THAT many problems, I didn’t know he had some happy comeback story”), training, priorities in MMA, and where Matt would like his future to take him.

You can’t possibly think we talk straight MMA for 45 minutes with this cat, can you?  Of course not!  Sometimes, “How is your cut?”, “How is camp going, bro?”, and “How do you see this fight playing out” simply aren’t very exciting questions, let alone worth asking in every.single.interview.ever.   So we take a deep dive into world of The Immortal.  Tune in to hear all about gardening, gun laws, the 2nd Amendment, parenting, the power of stupid people in large groups, and the belt Brown does NOT have in Judo.

Tune in to Punch Drunk Radio every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET for exclusive fighter interviews, special guests, breaking news, contests, event recaps and much more – only on the MMA DieHards Radio Network. If you can’t be here live, catch the archive on demand right HERE following the broadcast – or on iTunes!

It’ll be like a monsoon tore through the PDR airwaves tonight with the guests we’ve got in store!

Punch Drunk Radio’s hosts Amy Barton and Alex Donno will be joined by a fighter and manager combination on this episode, as Lorenz “The Monsoon” Larkin and Arnold “Irish” DeWitt occupy the guest spots.

Larkin (Twitter: @da_MONSOON) has been the topic of a few headlines this week in MMA.  Larkin was scheduled to face Luke Rockhold for the Strikeforce middleweight title on Jan. 12, just as he was on Nov. 3; however, the champ has pulled out both times due to injury.  Barton and Donno will get Larkin to explain his frustrations, his comical tweets surrounding the incident, and what the future holds for him when Strikeforce closes its doors after their final event in January.

DeWitt (Twitter: @Irishdouble3), manager and striking coach to Larkin, spoke with Barton earlier in the week regarding his fighter’s title shot being taken away for the second time.  PDR will get DeWitt to further elaborate on the situation, as well as what else is new with his stable of mixed martial artists.

Unless you’re preoccupied with some other type of torrential downpour tonight, it is a must you catch PDR and get caught in this monsoon.

Iiiiiit’s TIME!  Is that trademarked?  It is, you say?  We take it back, then.  Besides, we have no business in the “Device used to remind user to take medication” arena.  Do your Googling, people, we can’t make this stuff up.

It IS, however, time for a brand-spankin’, steaming hot, non-Dancing-With-The-Stars-y Punch Drunk Radio!  On this not-so-typical Tuesday (read: Tommy Toe Hold eve), Alex and Amy welcome Alchemist Management President Lex McMahon and upcoming MMA film “Only I” producer/director Rodny Paulson.

McMahon (Twitter: @lexmcmahonmma) has made his way to the top of the MMA management food chain.  Respected among his peers, he appears to often take a moderately quiet (yet unarguably efficient) behind-the-scenes route to success with his fighters.  When it’s time to speak and be heard, though, he has no qualms – and now, following UFC 154, McMahon has something to say.  We’ll discuss Alchemist Management fighter Alessio Sakara’s disqualification against Canadian fighter Patrick Cote, what the commission’s stance was on site, how Alessio is dealing with the backlash, and when we can expect to see a rematch.

Paulson (Twitter: @RodnyPaulson) takes on his first self-financed feature film, “Only I” (Twitter: @OnlyIFilm).  ”A troubled yet ambitions man in his 20′s, Orion Smith dreams of becoming an MMA fighter”.  Sound familiar?  It should – we hear it all the time from the real deal Holyfield – from local & regional fighters to the title holders of the UFC.  The road to becoming a fighter isn’t always easy, and Rodny puts his directing chops to the test in this new project to show us just how difficult it can be.  The bottom line?  We’re looking forward to “A young man’s journey to become an MMA fighter.”  And don’t you worry – we’ve got interviews coming with more of the cast and crew as well.  Keep your skivvies on!

Tune in to Punch Drunk Radio every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET for exclusive fighter interviews, special guests, breaking news, contests, event recaps and much more – only on the MMA DieHards Radio Network. There’s no way to dance around it. Kirstie Alley is going to get booted off “Dancing With the Stars” in tonight’s double-elimination episode. (And we suspect Emmitt Smith or Kelly Monaco are going with her.) There. Ya happy? Now you don’t have to watch the show and you can listen to your favorite Tuesday night MMA show, instead! No excuses, beeyotches! Just be here! Because we may not be oppan gangnam style, but we mos def are oppan PDR style.

Tonight, Amy and Alex welcome to the show Neil Magny from Season 16 “The Utlimate Fighter” and BMX legend T.J. Lavin.

Magny (Twitter: @NeilMagny) is in the quarterfinals on the current season of TUF and on this past week’s episode was paired against Strikeforce veteran Bristol Marunde in the round of eight. The two will fight for the right to move on to the semifinals. The Chicago area’s Magny, had a 9-2 record before entering the TUF house, and he’ll talk to us about his time in the house, what it’s been like to watch the show each week and his big-show aspirations in the sport.

Lavin (Twitter: @tjlavin), simply put, is a legend and one of the greatest BMX riders in history. He’s also a musician, host of “The Challenge” on MTV, a massive MMA fan – and a newlywed. He married his longtime girlfriend earlier this month. We’ll talk a little MMA, how often he thinks about the accident two years ago that had him in the hospital for a month and how we can get 200,000 Twitter followers, like him.

It’s PDR time again!  We’re here to woe your Election Day blues with some MMA madness.

This week’s episode of Punch Drunk Radio has hosts Amy Barton and Alex Donno welcoming UFC welterweight Thiago Alves!

Alves (Twitter: @ThiagoAlvesATT) has not competed since March, when he fought Martin Kampmann at “UFC on FX: Alves vs. Kampmann.”  It appears as if he won’t be returning to the cage anytime soon either.  The former UFC welterweight No. 1 contender has recently announced that he will be out of action until an estimated June 2013.  Barton and Donno will get the inside scoop on what’s preventing Alves from competing.  Thiago also talks rehab, Anderson Silva money, World Series of Fighting, healthy competition, and more.

It’s that time of the week, people!  It’s Tuesday, aka Punch Drunk Radio Day, aka Tommy-ToeHold-eve!

Our crazy hosts, Amy Barton and Alex Donno, are back with another exciting episode of Punch Drunk Radio.  This week they are joined by MMA personality and former fighter Frank Trigg.  Also on the show, UFC welterweight Rory MacDonald will make an appearance.

Trigg (Twitter: @FRANKTRIGG) has so much personality he could be by himself and enjoy the company.  A former UFC welterweight No. 1 contender, Trigg is now venturing through the media side of MMA.  Full of hilarity and not afraid to speak his mind, Trigg is always a great guest to have on the show.

MacDonald (Twitter: @rory_macdonald) is approaching a match against legendary mixed martial artist B.J. Penn at “UFC on Fox 5” on Dec. 8.  The Canadian will grace the show with his presence and talk about his upcoming fight, as well as all the other fascinating things going on in the life of MacDonald.  Of course, we’ll hit on VADA drug testing, twitter sparring, and Rory’s explanation of why he originally called B.J. out to fight.

And you can bet, Barton and Donno will recap the past week of MMA, as well as preview what’s ahead.  Tune in, you’ll like.  We promise.
