UFC 145′s Marcus Brimage and MMA veteran-turned-commentator Don Frye join Mike, Amy, and 790 The Ticket’s Alex Donno on tonight’s MMA Beatdown.

Brimage (twitter: @brim205), TUF 14 cast member turned contracted UFC fighter, faces off against UFC newcomer Maximo Blanco at UFC 145, April 21 in Atlanta, GA. Marcus, still relatively young in the sport (five professional fights to his credit), discusses his upcoming fight, his reality TV stints, why he moved from Bama to Florida, the opponent he faces in Blanco, and more.

Don Frye, Don Frye, Don Frye.  What can you say about Don Frye, really?  MMA Beatdown welcomes back the most colorful of commentators, fresh off his newest gig.  Don talks WMMA Sports, Dana White, the “ruin of the UFC”, the possibility of fighting once again, and his upcoming autobiography (you heard it here first!).

MMA Beatdown Radio is back … in … your … life. Sorry, Ariel. You haven’t trademarked that yet. (And if you have, just send a cease and desist. We love ya, and we’ll knock it off.) For the first official day of spring, we’re springin’ right onto the airwaves with another stellar show.

This week, Mike, Alex and Amy are joined by Lloyd Woodard and Bret “Hollywood” Freeman for the type of show that is gonna leave you hungry for more. Seriously. You’re gonna be so pissed when we sign off tonight.

Woodard goes by “Cupcake.” (We told you you’d be hungry.) But he is nothing of the sort for his opponents. The lightweight from Big Sky Country in Montana started his pro career 11-0 before dropping a unanimous decision to current Bellator champ Michael Chandler nearly a year ago at Bellator 40. After some time off, Woodard returns Friday for arguably the biggest fight of his life, a Bellator lightweight tournament quarterfinal bout against Patricky “Pitbull” Freire. He’ll talk to us about his time off and Saturday’s big fight in Texas.

360-degree spins? Bret Freeman has no time for such things. He’s too busy rockin’ out sick wardrobes behind microphones all across Europe. The voice of promotions like Ultimate Challenge MMA and Cage Warriors, the man behind “It’s go time!” will join us to talk about his unique style, his inspirations, his dual citizenship in America and England and his next show this week in Switzerland.

Rear Naked Choke Radio has never done anything small.  On this epic special episode, Joe Rizzo and Matt Leung bring you 12 of the most lethal women in the world.  Yes, a dozen guests in 90 minutes — all professional female fighters.

Since I (Joe Rizzo) went into “retirement” in December, I had no idea if the show would come back.

At least for one day, we’re back.  Watch or listen to the show right here.  The live stream airs from LA Boxing in Paramus, N.J.

Women in MMA have never had the spotlight more than they do now.  The cause will not go further until you get to know some of the fighters better.  Decide who you love and who you hate after you hear their voices right here.
