Here’s what went down between March 15 and March 24:

KSW 15: Konfrontacja (Warsaw, Poland; March 19)

Khalidov (black trunks) vs. Irvin

Sengoku veteran and No. 18-ranked middleweight Mamed Khalidov (22-4-2) quickly disposed of UFC veteran James Irvin (15-9), needing just 33 seconds to catch “The Sandman” in an armbar for the submission victory…UFC and Pride veteran Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (11-8) claimed the KSW light-heavyweight crown with a second-round TKO of Jan Blachowicz (12-3). Sokoudjou battered Blachowicz’s lead leg with low kicks, leaving the Polish prospect unable to answer the bell for the third round…UFC and Sengoku veteran James Zikic (20-7-2) earned a unanimous decision over Antoni Chmielewski (21-8)…Bellator veteran Rogent Lloret (10-2-1) took the unanimous nod over Karol Bedorf (6-2)…Michal Materla (14-3) locked in a guillotine choke to submit Gregory Babene (12-10) in the second round…Aslambek Saidov (10-2) took home a unanimous decision over Ruben Crawford (8-2).

Sokoudjou (red trunks) vs. Blachowicz

Top Fight Night 88 (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; March 15)
IFL veteran Delson Heleno (21-5) submitted Jucelino Ferreira (1-1) via first-round armbar…Eduardo Pachu (12-4) secured a rear naked choke to submit Elder Lara (3-9) in the first round.

Evolution Fighting Championships 7: Battle Ground (Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada; March 19)
In a light heavyweight championship bout, Tim Chemelli (8-0) kept his unblemished record intact with a first-round TKO of Jon Ganshorn (3-1).

Fight Pit 2 (Dundalk, Ireland; March 19)
Viktoras Kontrimas (15-5) earned a unanimous decision over Dawid Blaszke (0-1).

Gladiator Challenge: High Octane (Placerville, Calif.; March 19)
Bellator and ShoXC veteran Jaime Jara (30-9) secured a first-round rear naked choke to submit Larry Mays (5-6).

Mayhem Promotions: Toe 2 Toe (Rosemont, Ill.; March 19)
James Pettus (13-1) submitted Clayton Martell (1-3) by way of a second-round armbar.

Nitro MMA 2: Throwdown (Logan City, Queensland, Australia; March 19)
TUF 8 alum and UFC veteran Shane Nelson (13-5) locked in a guillotine choke in the second round to submit Jai Bradney (10-6-1).

Rage in the Cage 150 (Chandler, Ariz.; March 19)
UFC veteran Aaron Brink (24-20) forced Larry Robertson (6-1) to submit to strikes just 55 seconds into their encounter.

Staredown 5 (Antwerpen, Belgium; March 19)

Dandois (red gloves) vs. Baars

No. 9-ranked 145-pound female fighter Cindy Dandois (5-1) scored a second-round TKO of Jorina Baars (0-2)…Michael Kuiper (10-0) remained undefeated with a first-round knockout of Clarence Noordzee (0-3).

United Glory 2010 – 2011 World Series: Second Round (Charleroi, Belgium; March 19)

Depret (white trunks) vs. Carneiro

In a fight that made Sherdog’s list of 10 March Tussles Worth Watching, Sengoku veteran and recent Strikeforce addition Siyar Bahadurzada (19-4-1) advanced to the finals of United Glory’s welterweight tournament, needing less than two minutes to score a TKO of Tachi Palace Fights welterweight champion and UFC vet John Alessio (31-14)…On the other side of the bracket, Bahadurzada’s Golden Glory teammate Tommy Depret (9-3) advanced to the finals with a first-round armbar submission of UFC veteran Roan Carneiro (14-9).

Vision Fighting Championship 2 (Karlstad, Sweden; March 19)

Hytten vs. Eklund

Thomas Hytten (15-7-1) spoiled UFC veteran Per Eklund’s (15-5-1) return to action from a two-year layoff by knocking out the Swede just 48 seconds into a fight that made Sherdog’s 10 March Tussles Worth Watching.

World Fighting Combat: Pretorian (Rio das Ostras, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; March 19)
WEC and Pride veteran Paulo Filho (22-2-1) sneaked out with a razor-thin split decision win over Jackson Mora (4-8).
