Dan Miller (11-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) will replace Phil Baroni at UFC 118 against John Salter (5-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC).

A source close to the bout confirmed to MMA DieHards that Miller will step in for Baroni and face Salter at the Aug. 28 event.

Baroni was forced off of the card with a collarbone injury.

Miller kicked off his UFC career with three straight wins, but is in the midst of a three fight losing streak. His losses have come at the hands of Demian Maia, Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping.

John Salter will look to pick up his second Octagon win after defeating Jason MacDonald at UFC 113.

UFC 118 takes place Aug. 28 and marks UFC’s debut in Boston. The card features a lightweight title rematch between B.J. Penn and Frankie Edgar as well as James Toney’s MMA debut against Randy Couture.
