UFC on FOX 3 victor Danny Castillo and Legacy 11 fighter Chad Robichaux join Mike Fester and Alex Donno (of Miami’s 790 The Ticket) on tonight’s MMA Beatdown.

“Robo” Robichaux (11-2) is an 8 time Afghanistan Marine Recon vet.  He talks his upcoming fight, his non-profit organization designed to help veterans cope with PTSD (using BJJ!), and what his future holds.

Danny “Last Call” Castillo, fresh off a unanimous decision victory over John Cholish on the UFC’s third FOX card, checks back in with the crew as well.

The show streams live here at MMADiehards.com at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, 5:30 on the West Coast, which we’ve been told is the Best Coast – though that’s up for debate. Face buried in a pizza? Picking up The Wife’s clothes at the dry cleaners? On a mandatory Tuesday Date Night? Look, we get it. Shiznit happens. You’ve got a life to live outside of little ol’ us at Beatdown Radio – even though we managed to get an entire extra day added onto the calendar for you. So we’ll do ya another favor. We’ll make the show available on demand RIGHT HERE after the completion of the broadcast or as a download at iTunes for the low-low, low-low cost of FREE. (But you’re way, way cooler if you’re here with us live.)

MMA Beatdown Radio is back for a special May Day edition! And tonight, we’re filling your May Basket with two killer guests that will have you dancing around the Maypole … and then looking up on Wikipedia just what the hell a Maypole is and why you get a special basket today. And then you’ll wonder why you didn’t send us a May Day greeting card.

Tonight, Mike, Alex and Amy are joined by a UFC heavyweight Hall of Famer and a brand-new UFC flyweight. Doesn’t get much more opposite ends of the spectrum than that! Mark Coleman and Louis Gaudinot swing by the show tonight, and you won’t wanna miss either of them.

Coleman is nothing short of a legend. “The Hammer” was the UFC’s first heavyweight champ 15 years ago before going on to a great run in Pride. He’s fought the best in history – Fedor, Cro Cop, Dan Severn, Don Frye, Don Frye’s mustache, Randy, Shogun … he was a no-brainer Hall of Famer for the UFC. He’ll fill us in on what he’s been doing the last couple years of his retirement and we’ll get his thoughts on the current state of MMA.

Gaudinot returns to his 125-pound home on Saturday after moving up to bantamweight to compete in Season 14 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” But the introduction of the UFC’s flyweight division meant the New Yorker could drop back down to his true weight class, and on Saturday he’ll face a tough UFC newcomer in John Lineker at UFC on Fox in New Jersey. Gaudinot will take us through his training camp, tell us about fighting close to home again and regale us with tales of the TUF house before he gets ready for his second UFC fight.

And now the usual disclaimer: Tonight’s show streams live at MMADiehards.com at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, 5:30 Pacific. It also will be available on demand RIGHT HERE after the completion of the broadcast or as a download at iTunes. Any publication, reproduction, retransmission or other use of the accounts of this show without the express written consent of Beatdown Radio is prohibited. I mean, if we catch you.

MMA Beatdown radio: Bellator Middleweight Tournament Finalist Andreas Spang

People! It feels so good to be back! Did you miss us? Sorry ’bout last week and everything. Consider it like a mandatory 14-day medical suspension from an athletic commission – there was nothing we could do about it. We had to take the time off. But it’s Tuesday, it’s 8:30, it’s time to party. No Wayne and Garth, but Mike, Hector, and Amy’ll have to do.

The B-to-the-D is back for another arse-kickin’ show. Mike, Hector, and Amy are joined this week by a relative newcomer who burst onto the mainstream scene just last week in Andreas Spang is gracing us with his presence for another stellar show.

Spang on Friday came into his Bellator Season 6 middleweight tournament semifinal fight against Brian Rogers as a big underdog – Rogers was a 5-to-1 favorite in the fight. And what’s crazier is that Spang, from Sweden, took the fight on less than a week’s notice. In his Bellator debut, with a shot at the middleweight finals on the line, Spang, like the honey badger, didn’t give a spit. He stopped Rogers with a second-round knockout. He’ll talk to us about the short-notice upset and his ambitions for the finals against UFC vet Maiquel Falcao.

Tonight’s show streams live at MMADiehards.com at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, 5:30 Pacific. And if you can’t make it here live, the show is available on demand RIGHT HERE after the completion of the broadcast or as a download at iTunes.

Guess what time it is, kids? Yeah. You know it. MMA Beatdown Radio is back again, and we’re about to be like Emeril on steroids and take this week’s show up to notches unknown to mankind. BAM. (OK, maybe it’s a bad time to joke about ‘roids, what with the whole Overeem testosterone thing. But whatevs.)

This week, Mike, Alex and Amy have a pair of guests who had a harder time than most kids learning how to spell their own names. Zack Makovsky and Keith Wisniewski join the gang to talk about their upcoming fights, and maybe even shed some light on what it’s like to be in the -Ski/-Sky Name Club.

Makovsky is just three days away from the first defense of his Bellator bantamweight title. He’ll put his strap on the line Friday at Bellator 65 in Atlantic City, N.J., just an hour down the road from his training home in Philadelphia. Makovsky meets Season 5 tourney winner Eduardo Dantas after a pair of stoppage wins in non-title fights last year. He’ll talk about how he matches up with Dantas, the rather long wait to defend his title since winning the belt 18 months ago, where his “Fun Size” nickname comes from and why he’s bringing MotownPhilly back again on the MMA scene.

Wisniewski is one of the most veteran fighters in the UFC with more than 40 career fights. His two stints in the promotion came six years apart, so you might not know much about him. And we’re here to change that. Wisniewski came out on the short end of a doctor’s stoppage in a bloody two-round war with Josh Neer in October, but he’ll get one more chance at his first UFC win next week against Chris Clements in Atlanta. Wisniewski will clue us in on that fight, regale us with stories from his long career (which includes wins over Jorge Santiago, Carlo Prater, Chris Wilson and oh yeah – that time Shinya Aoki nearly ripped his arm off) and fill us in on what might be the best MMA camp you’ve never heard of – Duneland Vale Tudo, which features him, UFC fighters Eddie Wineland and Darren Elkins, and Bellator fighter Josh Shockley.

Tonight’s show streams live at MMADiehards.com at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, 5:30 Pacific. Seriously. It’s a “Dancing With the Stars” results show night, we know. But trust us: Melissa Gilbert is gonna get the boot. DVR that shiznit and hang out with us at Beatdown Radio. But if you absolutely, positively MUST miss us live (sniff, sniff …), the show is available on demand RIGHT HERE after the completion of the broadcast or as a download at iTunes. Just sayin’.

Darce Side Radio: Sergio Non, Tom DeBlass, Damacio Page, Daniel Straus
